Founded in 1995, Tanjong Manis Resources Sdn. Bhd. is involved in the production and export of high quality woodchips. Our woodchip is used by MDF manufacturers and pulp and paper manufacturers. We also export palm kernel shells to the overseas biomass energy market.

We have been exporting woodchips to Japan since 1995. In 2015, we started exporting palm kernel shells to Japan.

Our factory is located in Tanjung Manis, one of the SCORE (Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy) areas earmarked by the state government to promote timber industry, renewable energy and also halal hub. We have our own integrated port loading facility with conveyor belt system to allow the woodchips and palm kernel shell to be directly transported from our storage warehouse to the vessel.

We also active in forest plantation with a planted forest license in Matu district, Sarawak. The main species planted is Acacia Mangium, covering total size of approximately 6500 hectares.

Palm Kernel Shells

Palm Kernel Shells (PKS) is increasingly known as high grade biofuel and attractive renewable energy source. It is a biomass residue from palm oil industries.

OUR OPERATIONS

Our wood chipping process covers all stages of the process from plantation to export.
We also buy wood waste from sawmills and plywood factories as our raw material for wood chipping.
